Benzoin

Benzoin is a resin obtained from two trees: Styrax tonkinensis and Styrax benjoin. The bark of these plants is manually engraved to stimulate the production of this balsamic latex which solidifies in contact with the air forming “drops”. The benzoin scent belongs to the oriental amber olfactory family, and is a woody base note with spicy, slightly sweet and vanilla balsamic facets.
