Cedar

The scent of cedar is very reminiscent of lemon, but more delicate and sweet, particularly green and fruity. The cedar is the progenitor of the citrus family from which the varieties of the genus Citrus derive. Used in the early twentieth century in colognes and orange blossoms, cedar essential oil is often used as a base for citrus scents or as an accompaniment to fresh top notes.
